Our tidal basin offers drying berths with pontoon access, security and great value for money. The tidal berths can accommodate almost any keel configuration or outdrives up to a draft of 1.8m 5.9ft on the fore and aft mooring, allowing crew to board when the craft is sitting on the mud or afloat. Divided into a tidal and a locked basin, Gillingham Marina, a TYHA five gold anchor Marina shares its high standard of service equally across the two basins. Prices start at approximately two thirds of the price of the Locked floating basin and monthly and 6 month seasonal terms are available. Secure mooring with 24 hour security, water and electricity on attendance and ample parking are all part of a term contract. With up to 2.5 hours tidal access either side of high water, the tidal basin is the preferred choice for sailors looking for quality moorings on a budget, purists not wishing to use the lock and fishing enthusiasts planning night trips on the early tide. |
